Mrs. Pruitt was born on May 22, 1950 in Habersham County to the late Woodrow Wilson Zimmerman and Reba Simmons Zimmerman. She was a member of Chopped Oak Baptist Church. Mrs. Pruitt was a loving wife, mother, mimi and homemaker who loved gardening, sunshine, and spending time with her family. Precious Pat – to know her was to love her and to feel loved by her, a selfless servant of God who poured herself into her family and friends.
Survivors include her loving husband, Tommy Pruitt, of Mt. Airy; daughter and fiancé, Amanda Pruitt and Lewis Link, of Mt. Airy; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Cindy Pruitt, of Mt. Airy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Robert Reepe, of Clarkesville; Peggy and Jerry Carter, of Clarkesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Perry and Beth Zimmerman, of, Clarkesville; Preston and Cynthia Zimmerman, of Demorest; 3 grandchildren, Erica, Emily, and Ethan Pruitt.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 21, 2019 at East View Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Mote officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
