Grand Opening Celebration of Northeast Georgia Regional Libraries’ New Bookmobile:
Breaking Barriers to Library Access for Underserved Communities
Northeast Georgia Regional Libraries proudly announces the grand opening of its innovative
Bookmobile, marking a new era of accessible library services for underserved populations.
The Bookmobile represents a pivotal step in the library’s commitment to reaching distant
regions and breaking barriers to public library access.
By transporting an array of books, diverse programming, and invaluable resources beyond
the confines of physical library locations, the Bookmobile is dedicated to eliminating
obstacles that hinder access to library services. This transformative initiative directly caters
to communities residing far from traditional library branches, ensuring that everyone has
equal opportunities to engage with educational, recreational, and informational resources.
Newly appointed Bookmobile and Outreach Manager, Jenny Brooks, said, “We’re passionate
about fostering inclusivity and providing equitable access to the wealth of knowledge and
experiences available through our libraries. The Bookmobile enables us to extend our reach
and directly engage with those who might otherwise face challenges accessing our services.”
In line with this vision, Northeast Georgia Regional Libraries is actively seeking sponsors to
join in supporting this noble cause.

Sponsorship opportunities present a chance for
businesses and community leaders to collaborate with the library in making a tangible
difference by reaching and serving underserved populations.
