(SILVIS. Ill.) – For the fourth consecutive year, the No. 10 Truett McConnell University women’s golf team is headed to the NAIA National Championships on Tuesday, May 14-Friday, May 17 at TPC Deer Run in Silvis, Illinois.

The Lady Bears earned their place at nationals with an at-large bid due to a sharp performance as a team, as seen by TMU sitting pretty in the NAIA Top 25 for the entire duration of the season. TMU is one of three teams to represent the Appalachian Athletic Conference, including No. 11 SCAD Atlanta and No. 18 Milligan University. The Lady Bears are set to tee off at 7:00 a.m. (CST) on Tuesday, May 14 and 12:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, May 15.

TMU’s five-woman roster will include Madison PanterSylken NovemberJala StameyAudrey Grace Holder and Nicoline Eide. The Lady Bears had a successful 2024 season, topping out at No. 10 in the NAIA National Top 25 Poll. According to SpikeMark, the Lady Bears rank 11th in the NAIA team rankings.

The Lady Bears finished in the top five in every tournament of their 2023-24 season, along with recording four first place finishes as a team. One of TMU’s most notable performances was the Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational in September, where the Lady Bears defeated every NAIA-ranked competitor. Additionally, TMU finished runners-up overall out of eight teams at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament with a team score of 910, while being crowned the AAC Regular Season Champions. Three Lady Bears were named to the All-Conference First Team (Eide, November and Holder) and one Lady Bear was named to the All-Conference Second Team (Panter).
