(Clarkesville) — North Georgia Technical College’s Health Sciences students from the Clarkesville campus recently received their pins in a private graduation ceremony at the college that followed Covid-19 guidelines to keep participants safe. Pinning ceremonies are a traditional nursing practice that honors students prior to beginning their careers in healthcare. Students receiving pins were from the Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Tech, and Clinical Lab programs.

“I am beyond proud of my 2020 graduates,” said Haley Adams, NGTC Clinical Lab Instructor. “They were so dedicated in finishing their degree. Despite the difficulties during clinical rotations, they pushed through and finished strong. I expect great things from them and wish them the best in all their future endeavors.”
