(Cleveland)- Local Author Emory Jones, after several years of work is about ready to offer his latest work, a historical fiction book. The book, “ The Valley Where They Danced” is set right after World War One.
Jones who unveiled the new book cover at yesterday’ s White County Rotary Club meeting told us about what’s in the book, “ from Clarkesville, to Clayton to Cleveland old time camp meetings and pottery shops go back to a time that surely existed here once. It all sets the stage for a twist of an ending at Tallulah Gorge.”
Jones said a lot of research went into the book and this type of book is no easy to write. “ The fiction part is the easiest part to write, but to have the history correct is time consuming effort and I have tried to do that, Said Jones.
The new book is expect to out from the publishers by Christmas time this year and will be available at many area stores.
