Mr. N. H. Satterfield, Jr., age 82, of Dahlonega, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020.
Mr. Satterfield was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He was born on October 12, 1937, to the late Newton Harry, Sr. and Arizona Meers Satterfield. N.H. was a handyman and worked in many places from farms to the U.S. Forrest Service in maintenance. He was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sister Corene Satterfield, Dahlonega; and several cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Shane Wehunt, the Rev. Steve Barrett, and the Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
