Mrs. Annie Lois Smith, age 71, of Cleveland, formerly of Dahlonega, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021.
Mrs. Smith was born in Lumpkin County on November 17, 1949 to the late Elmer and Fannie Fortner Lance. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Lynn Smith and special aunt Anna Lou Truelove. Mrs. Smith was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Whitney Smith of Cleveland; step-son Scott Smith of Leland, NC; step-grandson Jacob Smith of Leland, NC; sister-in-law Betty Smith; uncle Jimmy Truelove of Clermont; and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
