Mr. Max Walter Tomlin, age 75, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020.
Mr. Tomlin was born in Habersham County to the late Buddy Tomlin and Trudy Palmer Saxon. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Herschel and Sylvia Palmer. Mr. Tomlin was a Broiler Supervisor for Wayne Farms and a member of Skitts Mountain Baptist Church.
Survivors include wife, Evelyn Tomlin, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Kerry Walden, Cleveland; grandchildren, Luke Walden and Ema Walden, Cleveland; brother, Johnny Saxon, Cleveland; and special aunt, Mary Vaughn.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 P.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church. The Rev. Paul Flynn and Rev. Kyle Savage will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 P.M. Monday, September 28, 2020 at the funeral home.
