Mr. Angus “Jack” Lowman, age 67, of Murrayville passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years Tina Seabolt Lowman; daughter Jennifer Fortenberry; grandsons Samuel Fortenberry and Lucas Thomas; brothers and sisters Larry Lowman of Dahlonega, Ellene Headrick of Walhalla, SC, Claudell and Howard Hinchliffe of Gainesville, and Lorine and Douglas Peck of Dahlonega; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Kate and Dean Davis of Dahlonega, Henley Seabolt of Dahlonega, Patsy and Ronnie Lingerfelt of Dahlonega, Susie and Shawn McCune of Indiana, Gladys and Bobby Samples of Gainesville, Kendall and Debbie Seabolt of Dawsonville, and Regina Seabolt of Dahlonega.

Jack is preceded in death by his son Jack Ensley Lowman; parents Efford and Nelda Lowman; brother and sister-in-law Harold and Dortha Lowman; sister and brother-in-law Laura and Willam Kurtz; brothers-in-law LaVerne Headrick, Mark Seabolt, and Hoyt Seabolt; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Elaine and Homer Davis; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Earnest and Bessie Seabolt.

Jack dearly loved and was devoted to his immediate and extended family. He was especially devoted to his grandsons and as an avid hunter and fisherman he took great pride in teaching his grandson Samuel to hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoors.

Jack met people where they were, not where he thought they should be. He was patient, loving, loyal, non-judgemental, and forgiving. He was easy to talk with and trustworthy.

Jack will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help anyone including his family, friends, and often strangers. But most of all he will be remembered for the special love he had for his family and fellow human beings.

Jack’s parting words were “Keep the Faith, God’s Good and He’s Good All the Time!”
