(CLEVELAND) – The Truett McConnell University men’s volleyball team hosted No. 12 Life University for their program opener, which was also their Mid-South Conference opener, on Thursday evening inside the TMU Volleyball/Wrestling Arena. The Bears fell in three straight (25-3, 25-13, 25-7), which kept the Screaming Eagles perfect on the season (4-0, 1-0 MSC).

Although TMU dropped the first set by double digits, the Bears rallied to put up 13 in the second set, which featured a Brice Dollar kill. Three of TMU’s six points in the third set were also kills, from Kyle Trammell and Gannon Fields, but Life ultimately put the match out of reach.

Up next, the Bears will host MSC opponent Reinhardt University at 11:30 a.m.
