Mary Ruth Wade Armour, age 85 of Alto, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018.
Born in Alto, Georgia on April 6, 1933 to the late Lewis & Delia Ferguson Wade. Mrs. Armour retired from Ethicon. She enjoyed traveling and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Armour; brothers, Roy Wade, Andrew Wade and C.H. “Pot” Wade.
Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Elaine & Charles Marsh of Athens; brother and sister-in-law, T.Lee & Brenda Wade of Alto; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Sunday, August 19, 2018 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in B.C. Grant Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
