(Cleveland)- The number of positive COVID-19 cases in White County continues to decline. As of Friday, the Georgia Department of Public Health reported that 41 cases were confirmed in the last two weeks. That compares to 114 for a two-week period on the first of October and 509 the first of September. 

The total number of COVID cases, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health, now stands at 4,442 and total deaths related to the virus 107. 

White County Schools continues to see good COVID numbers, Friday the school system reported 1 middle school student had the virus and of the 558 staff members none had the virus.
