(Cleveland)- White County Animal Control Services has announced a low-cost spay/neuter program available to the public will go into effect November first.
David Murphy, White County Public Safety Director said; “White County Animal Control Services is pleased to be the recipient of a grant from the State of Georgia, Department of Agriculture.
This grant is to assist low-income families with the costs associated with spay/neuter surgery for their pets.” Approved applicants will be required to pay $20.00 towards the surgery and will receive a voucher to be presented at VCA Chestatee Animal Hospital for the balance of the surgery. Additional costs, pain medications, shots, etc. are the responsibility of the pet owner.

Applications for both the spay/neuter grant and adoptions can be obtained at White County Animal Control, 680 Industrial Blvd, Cleveland.
