Kristie Lee Whitfield, age 44, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
Born on October 27, 1976, in Atlanta, she was a daughter of Shirley Fry Marple and the late George Elbert Whitfield. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Christian Conrad of Helen; daughter, Bryson Carter of Cleveland; granddaughter, Ara Bella Carter; and sisters, Wendy Ostby of Denver, CO and April Beamon of Dahlonega.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Dr. Kenneth Franklin officiating.
The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted.
