Tammy Keyes, NGTC Employee of the Year
(Clarkesville)- North Georgia Technical College has named Tammy Keyes as its 2021 Employee of the Year. Keyes is an accounts payable specialist in administrative services. She’s been employed by the college since 1998 and previously served as cashier.
NGTC staff members nominated Keyes for the award saying she is known for going above and beyond her normal duties to help people: Her boss says she’s a “joy” to have on the team.
“I want to treat others as I would want to be treated and help wherever I can,” says Keyes, adding, she’s honored and “very humbled and overwhelmed” to receive the award.
NGTC President John Wilkinson oversees the executive team that selected Keyes for the award. “We are very proud of Tammy and congratulate her for a job well done,” says Wilkinson. “I know she has done an outstanding job during a tough year, and I know all of her colleagues are thankful for her kind spirit and service to our students and the college.”
Keyes lives in Hiawassee with her husband.
