Kenneth Edgar Woodall, age 78, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away in the morning of Wednesday, September 16, 2020 following a brief illness.

Kenneth was the son of Edgar and Bessie Woodall of Cornelia. Georgia. Married to Corinne Smith Woodall for 57 years, Kenneth has one daughter, Julie Woodall Teachout, one son-in-law, Steven Teachout, and two grandchildren, Drew Teachout and Anna Teachout. He is also survived by his sister, Genell Skinner, and brother, Danny Woodall, both of Demorest.

Kenneth enjoyed a long career as a Drive-In Theater Owner and in his retirement had a successful second career as an artist, painting his memories of growing up in the North Georgia Mountains. Being an artist gave him one of his greatest pleasures. His work has been displayed at various shows and galleries in Georgia and New York City. He was named a member of the Salmagundi Art Club in Manhattan, New York City.

A loving grandfather, Kenneth was so proud of his grandchildren. Over the years, he and his grandson, Drew traveled around the country visiting various Major League Baseball parks and enjoying their mutual love of baseball. One of his greatest pleasures was seeing his granddaughter, Anna cheer on his favorite college team, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as a collegiate cheerleader. He was so grateful that they both chose Georgia Tech to pursue their higher education so he wouldn’t have to cheer for UGA!

He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

No Formal Services are planned at this time.
