Mr. Joey Lee Kastner, age 36, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020.

Joey was a 2002 graduate of White County High School and was employed with the White County Animal Control where he served as Division Chief. He loved fishing, hunting and playing softball. Joey especially loved coon hunting, he was the Master of Hounds for UKC Habersham County Coon Hunters Association. He loved his kids and enjoyed coaching them in sports. Joey was a faithful member and deacon at Woodlawn Baptist Church. To know Joey was to love Joey. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jr. and Lois Kastner and maternal grandmother, Ruth Holcomb. 

Survivors include wife, Amanda Kastner; son, Joshua Kastner; daughter, Brooklyn Kastner; parents, Rev. Danny and Cindy Kastner; brothers and sister-in-law, Rev. Jeremy and Ashley Kastner and Rev. Walker and Kellie Kastner; sister and brother-in-law, Josie and Brad Davidson; maternal grandparents, Joe Ed and Dee Holcomb; like brothers, Jason and May Kastner and Alex and Brittany Kastner; all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Monday, September 21, 2020 at Woodlawn Baptist Church.  The Rev. Kyle Gibson, Rev. Jeremy Kastner, and Rev. Carl Helton will officiate. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the funeral home.

Social distancing will be followed at the funeral home and the church.  The family requests that everyone who attends the visitation and the funeral to wear a mask.
