Janet Lynn Grier, age 67, of Lula, passed away on Saturday, October 23,
2021.

Mrs. Grier was born on October 20, 1954, in Hall County, to the late Claiborn
and Mildred Kemp Kersh. She was a homemaker. In addition to her
parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Grier.

Survivors include her daughters, Kelley Boyd, Lula, and Penny Nix, Lula; son
and daughter-in-law, David and Kristi Dearman, Gainesville; brothers and
sisters-in-law, Randall and Lynn Kersh, Scotty and Keri Kersh, and Lanny and
Kelly Kersh; sister, Rhonda Howard; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and
Reggie Gable; sister and significant other, Tami Maxwell and Chad Fowler;
grandchildren, Carly Evans, Luke Evans, Emma Nix, Makenzi Wooten, Mason
Free, Luke Free, McCoy Clifford, and Marrah Clifford.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021,
at The Chapel of Barret Funeral Home. The Rev. Will Fuller will officiate.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cross Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral
home.
