James Neil “Jim” Bryant, age 73 of Homer, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 following an extended illness.
Born in New York on July 02, 1946, he was a son of the late Everette Danford Bryant & Kathryn Augusta O’Brien Bryant. Jim served his country proudly in the United States Air Force with 20 years of dedicated service. He also worked for many years with A Better Place Group Home. Jim was a faithful member of Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Jeanette Everette McClure Bryant of Homer, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Colin & Carmen Bryant; daughter, Kelley Lyon, all of Florida; step-sons, Ronnie McClure of Gainesville, GA; Scott McClure of Maysville, GA; Ricky McClure of Gainesville, GA; step-daughters, Robin Munoz of Alto, GA; Penny King of Oakwood, GA; brothers, David Bryant & Kevin Bryant, both of NY; sister, Marilyn Bryant of NC; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; other relatives & friends.
In consideration of public health & safety, a private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
