Michael Humphrey retiring as library program manager

(Cleveland)- After 14 years, Michael Humphrey is retiring as the Program Manager at the White County Library in Cleveland. Humphrey said he will miss the relationships and most of the patrons. He plans to catch up on his reading and do some kayaking. 

Emily McConnell, new Clevealnd Library Program Manager

His successor is already on the job, Emily McConnell began her duties as Program Manager on June 20th.  She has worked for a number of years with the Hall County Library and seven years as the manager of the Toccoa-Stephens County library. McConnell lives near Helen and is excited about all the possibilities ahead at the Cleveland library.

The Friends of White County Public Libraries will be hosting a retirement reception for Michael Humphrey this Thursday, (June 30th)  from 3 to 4 p.m. at the library at 10 Colonial Drive. It is open to the public, so come by and wish him well, and meet Emily.
