Cleveland Funeral Home & Cremation Services announces that Harvey Edward Heddings, age 55 of Cleveland, Georgia passed away on October 13, 2019.
Harvey was born on February 22, 1964, in Lewisburg PA to the late Richard Heddings and Mrs. Blanche Mull Forsburg. He lived in North Georgia for the last 20 years, where he was a self-employed roofer. Every day, Harvey got up and broke his back to provide a good life for his family that he loved so dearly. He was a lover of many things, two of his favorites being the ocean and music. Harvey had a contagious laugh and in a matter of seconds, he could have an entire room engulfed in smiles and laughter.
In addition to his father, Harvey is preceded in death by brothers, Clyde Heddings and Kim Heddings, sister in law, Ida Heddings, and his favorite “furry friend” Snoopy.
He is survived by his wife of 20+ years, Jamie Heddings; Mother, Blanche Forsburg; Children, Nelson Heddings, Johnny Heddings, Mandy (James) Kilby, and Shelby Heddings; Brothers, Charlie Heddings, Shane Heddings, and Frank Heddings. He was also survived by 9 grandchildren.
Private family services will be held. Mr. Heddings’ wishes were to be cremated.
He will forever be where “you can see the sunrise and sunset, no matter what”, in the Florida Keys.
