Harold Edward Helms, age 73, of Cleveland passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020.

Mr. Helms was born on September 3, 1947 in Enterprise, Alabama to Edward Helms and Jeanette Helms. He
loved music from the time he was a small child. In high school he played in a band call the Check Mates they
did events around the area and traveled to Panama City. He joined a folk group in college. As an adult he
helped with the local EMS service. After that he went work for the Federal Government for the Department of
the army. He set all of the technical things on computers on army bases around the world. He worked his way
to top of his profession.

He retired after 32 years of service. He had the Opportunity to live in Germany twice
for several years. As well Italy and Panama. He had joy of traveling all around Europe. He was a serious Bear
Bryant “Roll Tide” fan. He in his later years when we moved to Cleveland GA created a DJ business doing
weddings and assorted events. He was in his element and loved every minute of it from preparing for the event
to the end of it. He had to slow down and finally retire from it. He spent his time still collecting music right up
until a few months before his death.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Helms, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Patrick Sullivan,
Senoia, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Michele Thomas, Edgewater, FL; grandchildren, Aaron
Sullivan, Jonathan Sullivan, Brittany Gelinas, Matthew Thomas, and McKenzie Stubbs.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Loudsville United Methodist
Church Campground. The Rev. Rich Griffith and the Rev. Michael Parker will officiate.
