George Asbury Warwick, age 81 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021.

Mr. Warwick was born July 8, 1939 in White County to the late Charlie and Flora Freeman Warwick. George worked for Talon Manufacturing for 25 years and then later worked as a security guard for Truett McConnell College for 38 years. He attended Zion Interdenominational Church and was a Veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, David Loggins; brothers, J.W. Warwick, Charles Warwick, Loy Warwick; sisters, Julie Howard and Lucyleen Cochran.

Survivors include his wife, Polly Warwick, Cleveland; daughter, Angelia Warwick Lusk, Cleveland; grandson and wife, Ethan and Kaylee Lusk, Buford; great-granddaughter, Emersynn Lusk; stepdaughter and husband, Vickie and David Dixon; stepson and wife, Ricky and Cathy Watson; step-grandchildren, Amanda Dixon, Aaron and Courtney Watson, Ashley and Micah Williams; step-great-grandchildren, Hunter Williams, Catelyn Williams, Colby Watson, Aldlee Watson and Brody Watson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Heffner and the Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Interment will follow at the Old Zion Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
