Emory Curtis Sellers age 73 of Mt. Airy, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends.

Born in the Prospect Community of Franklin County, Georgia on May 07, 1947, he was a son of the late Curtis Lenard & Gracie Mae Fowler Sellers. Emory was married on May 15, 1965 to Annie Loudermilk. He retired from Habersham Metal Products Company and worked in later years on his family’s poultry farm. Emory had a tremendous love for everyone and to his family he was a legend. He was a gentleman with a true servant’s heart who would go out of his way to make sure everyone had what they needed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Fannie Scroggs.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Annie Loudermilk Sellers of Mt. Airy, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Connie & Steve Ash of Mt. Airy, GA; son & daughter-in-law, David & Angie Sellers of Cleveland, GA; grandchildren, Seth & Maddie Ash; Kayla Parker; Austin & Lindy Sellers; great-grandchildren, Marley Martin; Audry Martin; Cayden Ash; Connor & Scarlett Parker; Maverick Canady; Amelia “Mia” Sellers; brother & sister-in-law, Harold & Mary Sellers of Toccoa, GA; sisters, Mattie Lee & Judy Crocker of Carnesville, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Mable & Wade Holcomb of Eastanollee, GA; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.

A visitation service will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Hillside Memorial Chapel.
