Eddie Eugene Caudell, age 61, of Carnesville, Georgia went to his Heavenly Home on Monday, September 20, 2021.
Mr. Caudell was born on October 2, 1959 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Bruce Caudell and Patricia Thomason, of Carnesville. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Curtis Thomason; brother, Cale Thomason. Eddie was reunited with his daughter, Lauren the following day after his passing. Mr. Caudell was a member of The Worship Center. Eddie was employed with Ethicon (johnson & Johnson) with 45 years of dedicated service. Eddie was always busy, spending time with his family, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and taking Lauren on rides to see cows and go many places.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Melinder Pruitt Caudell, of Carnesville; son, Clint Caudell, of Carnesville; daughter, Hannah Caudell, of Carnesville; brother, Trent Thomason, of Toccoa; mother-in-law, Glenda Pruitt, of Carnesville.
A Joint Funeral Service will be held for Eddie and Lauren at 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Mike Wilson, Pastor Mike Franklin, and Ms. Denise Eller officiating. Interment will follow in the Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Friday, September 24, 2021 at the funeral home prior to the service.
