(Gainesville)- District 2 Public Health’s annual Flu Drive-Thru Clinics will be returning to communities to provide accessible vaccines to residents just as flu season begins. The Flu Drive-Thru Clinics will allow participants to quickly receive the flu vaccine from trained healthcare professionals while remaining in their vehicles for a contactless process. The streamlined process will also adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols.
District 2 Health Director, Dr. Zachary Taylor said, “Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for everyone in our community to get vaccinated against the flu.”
The clinics do not require appointments and will accept most commercial insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid for no co-pay. There will also be self-pay pricing for those who are uninsured or underinsured.
In White County, the Drive-Thru Clinic will be held October 17th, from 3 PM until 7 PM at Cleveland Worship Center.
