(NORMAN, Okla. – University of North Georgia men’s golfer Grant Crowell was named to the GCAA’s Division II PING All-Region Team Friday afternoon as announced by the association.

Crowell was one of 21 players from the southeast region to earn the honor, 12 of which were from the Peach Belt Conference.

The Watkinsville, Georgia, native had four top-10 finishes in the 2020-21 season and finished with a stroke average of 72.3, the fourth-best season stroke average in program history.

Crowell is the first North Georgia player to earn All-Region honors from the GCAA in program history.
