The COVID-19 Response Fund has been created to assist those directly impacted by the Coronavirus in Habersham County. The goal of the fund, established by Habersham County United Way, is to assist individuals and families most impacted, with an emphasis on providing basic needs for the community’s most vulnerable residents. 

Thanks to the generosity of the North Georgia Community Foundation, StephJo Foundation Fund, South State Bank, Ethicon and others, the COVID-19 Response Fund will issue grants to eligible non-profits. To apply for assistance, applicants must be 501(c)3 organizations providing assistance to individuals and families through education, physical health, mental health, food security, workforce development, shelter, financial security or other related services. Applicants must also demonstrate an ability to deploy resources quickly and effectively, while providing tracking and reporting on utilization and outcome. Faith-based organizations are eligible if projects serve purposes and participants regardless of religious affiliation or beliefs.
