(Cleveland)- Twenty-Two White County government employees were recognized Wednesday for their years of service to the county at the annual County Employee Christmas Luncheon. The event was held at Babyland General Ballroom.
Those recognized added up to 250 years of services to the county.
Commission Chairman Travis Turner said the county is proud of the caliber of employees they have. “ We have been fortunate in the county to be able to attract and sustain tenured employees who have knowledge of their job, who know what they are doing and to be able to serve the citizens of the county and we are not having to recreate the wheel every month.”

Chairman Turner said this time when all the employees are able to get together is an uplifting time, “ we are able to go back to our respective departments, encouraged, energized and going into the new year hopefully we are able to serve the citizens in a whole new better way, said Turner.
