(Cleveland)- A 69-year-old Cleveland man was killed in a single-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon on Highway 75 north of Cleveland.
CPL B.D. Taylor with the Georgia State Patrol post in Gainesville said William Scott Bentley of Cleveland was driving a 2005 GMC Sierra truck southbound on Highway 75 approximately ½ mile north of State Route 384 (Duncan Bridge Road). According to CPL. Taylor the vehicle traveled off the east shoulder, leaving the roadway and striking a tree.
The trooper advised that Alcohol and or drugs are suspected to be a factor in the crash.
