(Cleveland)- The White County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Cleveland man last week on drug charges. White County Sheriff Neal Walden said in a news release; on August 30th deputies from the White County Sheriff’s Office responded to a possible domestic violence call on Tulip Trail.
Deputies, upon entering the residence, noticed the strong odor of raw Marijuana. Deputies then contacted Agents of the Appalachian Drug Task Force.
According to Walden agents then executed a search warrant at the residence and Stephen Dwayne Copeland was arrested and transported to White County Jail. Copeland was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic, Possession of a Schedule IV Narcotic, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
During the raid agents seized approximately three pounds of Marijuana, over 140 packages of candy made with the extracted THC of Marijuana, numerous packages of wax believed to contain a high potency of the THC extracted from Marijuana, several pills, two firearms, and approximately $21,000.00 in U.S. currency.
