(Cleveland)- The City of Cleveland has issued a Boil Water Notice as a result of a water main break, from Highway 129 south from Daybreak Road south to Tommy Cowart Road south of the city.
Tom Guy, Water Distribution Operator for the city of Cleveland said, this notice will affect the City of Cleveland water customers served in that area. He advised that residents and businesses in the area will notice loss of water or water pressure while the line is being repaired.
This notice is required by EPD when water pressure drops below 20 PSI (pounds per square inch). The boiled water is for drinking purposes or you can use bottled water until bacteriological samples can be collected and tested. Water needs to be boiled until the City lifts the notice.
The City will notify the media as soon as test results are received.
