Ms. Cheyenne Jean Burns, age 24, of Dahlonega passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021.

Cheyenne was born in Hall County on June 19, 1996. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Roger Burns. Cheyenne was a loving mother, and she expressed herself in the songs she loved to sing. As with any girl, she loved to shop, and her favorite pastime was keeping her car clean. 

Survivors include her children Alaina Kate Burns and Mavery Dianne Mabrey; parents Chad and Sandra Burns; paternal grandmother Vicki Burns; uncle Jeffery Burns, all of Dahlonega; maternal grandparents Johnny and Barbara Tolbert; sister Kayden Tolbert; aunt Christy Tolbert; and uncles Leroy Ross and Frank Ross, all of Cleveland.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to help with final expenses.
