burn-ban

(Cleveland)-  White County Public Safety Director David Murphy reminds all residents and visitors that until further notice all outdoor burning is prohibited in White County due to the drought and high fire danger conditions.  The ban applies to all outdoor open flames, including campfires, burn barrels, leaf burning and fireworks.

The U.S. Forest Service also has a total fire ban on the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests.   Georgia Forestry is no longer issuing burn permits.
