Mrs. Betty Sue Freeman, age 88, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020.

Mrs. Freeman was born in White County, to the late Virgil and Mary Lloyd Ramey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Robert Hamp Freeman; sons, Ronnie Freeman, Donnie Freeman; brothers, Dewey, RB, Herbert, Jack, and Harold Ramey. Mrs. Freeman was a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Christie Freeman; daughters-and sons-in-law, Ann and Lynn Whitener, Glenda and John Essigman, Penny and Glenn Sims; daughter in laws, Judy Freeman, Jeanie Freeman; sisters, Ruth Winkler, Ruby Ravan; 15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Freeman was a strong woman of God who loved her husband and family foremost. She was an accomplished gardener and homemaker.  She was kind, loving, and no one ever left her home hungry. Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in the Barrett Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Phillip Robinson and Rev. Michael Seabolt will officiate. Interment will follow at Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
