arctic-blast(Cleveland )- The first arctic blast has moved into Northeast Georgia and forecasters say a stronger blast could follow the middle of next week.  Under mostly clear skies Friday   morning temperature were in the low to mid 20 across northeast Georgia, here at WRWH we recorded 23 for the low reading.  Meanwhile WRWH weather reporter Bill Kinsland recorded 26 degrees at Sautee, 29 was the low in Helen and at Three Sisters Vineyard it was 25 this morning.

Another hard freeze is expected in the area Friday night. The arrival of the moisture has been delayed, but by Sunday the rain is expected in the area as the temperatures are expected to be above freezing. 

Forecasters with the National Weather Service describe the weather early next week as “ridiculous”,  with highs Tuesday not expected to move above  the mid 30 degree range with  lows in the teens that night.

 Just bundle up and hold on the temps are expected to be in the warm 50’s by later part of next week.
