(Cleveland)- As more people receive a COVID-19 vaccination the number of new positive Coronavirus cases in White County continues to remain low. The latest report from the Georgia Department of Public Health shows that 12 cases were reported during the past week. 

White County School system has reported no students or staff with the virus for the past few weeks. 

An update this week from District 2 Public Health says White County Health Department has administered more than 8,666 vaccinations. Health department vaccination numbers may include individuals who live outside of the county. A total of 13,906 individuals have been vaccinated in White County. This includes at least 7,325 or 25 percent with one dose and 6,023  or 20 percent of residents with two doses or fully vaccinated.

Beginning this week the White County Health Department scaled back their vaccination process and move the operations from the Bridge Church back to the health department on the Helen Highway.   Vaccinations are now available on Tuesdays only and Walk-ins will be accepted from 10 AM until 2 PM, closed from 12:30 to 1 PM for lunch.
