Sports – White County edged out a victory at the brickyard last night in a 3 point victory over North Hall.

Warriors Over North Hall 9-20-19

It was the Warriors who drew first blood in the rivalry versus the Trojans last night, energizing White County fans in the first ten minutes of the game. However the joy was responded to quickly by North Hall answering with their own touchdown, ending the first quarter tied 7 to 7.

J Ben Haynes, who was recently named Blitz Sports player of the week, dealt up some warrior justice with his second touchdown of the night shortly into the second quarter followed up quickly by an additional 3 point field goal by Andrew Pierce. When the Trojans put another seven on the board along with a field goal of their own, the game entered half-time tied at 17.

The third quarter belonged to North Hall, although White County added 3 more points to the board, the Trojans put up 7, ending the third quarter ahead 24-20.

As the fourth quarter started it seemed all but over for the Warriors with North Hall putting up another 7, giving them 31 points. But this is where the excitement built as the action was called by the WRWH Sports Team: Drew Harris, Garrett Rowland, and Mark Turner:

The final score 34 to 31, White County Warriors. White County has now taken the overall lead in the battle versus North Hall, 24 games to 23 in the 47 time these two teams have faced off.
