(Cleveland)- White County officials are preparing for the potential of snow Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service says computer models have been trending wetter with a fast-moving system Saturday, primarily between 6 am and noon,  and temperature profiles will support either snow and/or a rain/snow mix (possibly as far south as I-20).

The latest forecast calls for 40 percent chance of rain/snow.

White County Public Safety Director David Murphy says county departments have been advised to make necessary preparations with equipment and supplies.
