White County, going back to 1958, has had plenty of solid seasons, including a handful of 9-win seasons. The things that have eluded the Warriors are 10-win seasons and region titles. The program has gone 2-8 across eight playoff trips, reaching the second round twice, both in recent years. They’ve had just one coach stay for 10 years (Wicky Loudermilk), and he won 46 games, which is still the most for any Warriors coach.

Nine more wins will give White County 300 all-time, and would get them closer to the .500 mark. The turn of the decade in 2010 ushered in what has been the best stretch of football in the history of the school, as the Warriors have made six playoff trips in that span, including three in a row from 2012-14, where the guys won 22 games under coach Bill Ballard.

The Warriors have been ranked as high as #6 in the state, and ranked 12 times overall. There have been 19 All-State players, headlined by recent great Ashely Lowery and former greats Glen and Jesse Dorsey.
