(Sautee)- Nate is gone, but the moisture is still here and will be around for the next few days.   The storm that moved through the area over the weekend dropped substantial amounts of rain.  

WRWH Weather Reporter Bill Kinsland  added up the rainfall  from the three weather stations in White County over the weekend and reports  in Cleveland 3.53 inches of rain was recorded, in Helen 3.50 inches and at the Sautee weather station 3.59 inches was recorded. 

The three day average from Saturday through Monday morning was 3.54 inches. 

According to Bill the Chattahoochee river measured in Helen and at Duncan Bridge rose about two feet during the weekend and Lake Lanier was up almost a foot from the rain.
