Sports – It was a runaway victory last night in White County high school football as the Warriors shut-out the West Hall Spartans 42 – 0.

It seems that the Warriors, after taking last week off, were looking to redeem themselves following two losses in the two previous games, and last night the first half of the game is where all the action was.

Right out of the gate the Warriors were on the board with their first touchdown only 2 plays into the game, credited to Cooper Turner.

And it would be Cooper and J Ben Haynes who would see the end zone repeatedly throughout the first half of the game, assisted by an interception by Darius Cannon. White County went into homecoming halftime in the lead with a midway score of 35 to 0.

WRWH’s Sports team called the action:

The action died down slightly with the Warriors able to put a final 7 more points on the board in the third quarter, and with a running clock in the 4th, it was a short game.

White County pulled out four interceptions and seven touchdowns, closing out the game with a final score of 42 to 0, White County.

The Captain D’s players of the game last night was J Ben Haynes on Offense and Darius Cannon on Defense.
