(CLEVELAND) – Friday night Pickens County senior running back Shannon Brooks’s stole the show running for 304 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries to lead the Dragons to victory over the White County Warriors 42-34.
In the game played in Cleveland White County Senior Maurice Sutton dominated the Warrior’s scoring with two touchdowns, one catching and one passing. AJ Vandiver also nabbed the ball for his a touchdown, along with Max Taylor and Sam Turner.
Last time Pickens County Dragons were on Warrior turf was in 2006 with a victory of 52-20. The Warriors will be on the road next Friday dueling it out with Jackson County who lost 21 to Madison County’s 27 Friday night.
