(Cleveland)- Tuesday is party primary election day in Georgia and in White County, we have three contested races on the ballot, two board of educations seats and one county commission seat. Even with those race,s local voters didn’t seem interested in voting. After three weeks of early voting,
White County Chief Voter Registrar Lisa Manning said they had 1009 people who voted early. That is only a tiny percent of 17,310 people listed as active voters
According to Manning the early voting started slow but picked up the last few days with 185 people casting ballots on Friday.
Tuesday all county precinct locations will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM for voters to cast ballots.
