(Cleveland)- Cleveland police are looking for the driver of a tractor-trailer truck that ran into a utility pole causing damage and then leaving the scene.  The incident occurred around noon Monday at the intersection of East Underwood and Quillian Streets, according to Cleveland Police Chief John Foster.

The utility pole that was damaged had several communication cables attached to it.  Foster said the pole was damaged so bad that it caused a safety hazard so police blocked off the intersection, which remained closed for several hours while workers replaced the pole and reattached the cables.

Chief Foster says they want to talk with the driver of that truck.  “ We have some video that we are reviewing that’s possibly going to have a picture of a tractor-trailer on it, so see if we can’t make contact with the driver of that truck,” said Foster.
