Randall Townley

(Cleveland)- White County resident Randall Townley has announced he will be a candidate for Probate Judge in White County this year. He has lived in White County for 16 years, he said, “ I’ve enjoyed living here, enjoyed meeting the people of White County and working with the people in White County in the different areas I’ve worked in, spend about seven years at Pioneer RESA, of course, I’ve been in education in my past.”

Townley, who said he will be running as a Republican, has many years of experience in city and county government He has served as an elected school superintendent in Dawson County for two terms was appointed school superintendent in Towns County. In addition, Townley has served as Fire Chief and EMS Director in Dawson County, as well as being employed by the Sheriff’s Department in Dawson County.

“What’s prompted me to run for this I’ve always been a service person for the people, I’ve always tried to help so many resources and areas that I’ve worked in, commented Townley.

Townley is actively involved in his church, White Creek Baptist, and has held several offices in the White County Gideon Camp, where he has been a member for many years.

He says he will be attempting to make as many personal contacts during the campaign to talk with the voters before they vote.
