Todd Starnes speaking to TMC Chapel Service

(Cleveland)- Todd Starnes with  Fox News and Commentary and heard  daily on hundreds of radio stations. Spoke to the students, facility and guest during special chapel services at Truett McConnell College in Cleveland  Thursday morning, as part of the college’s second annual Ray Newman Ethics and Religious Liberty Lecture Series. 

Starnes who shares stories about faith with his radio and TV  reports talked about the war on religious liberty in America.  He shared with the crowd several examples of this including one where an Army Chaplin from Ft. Benning  who was reprimanded by the military, while he was leading a suicide prevention workshop at North Georgia College in Dahlonega, for mentioning religious sources for soldiers to go to if they were having suicidal thoughts.  Starnes said the military told him, “ that’s against the rules.”

 During his talk, Starnes challenged the students and others to take a stand for religious freedom.  He concluded by telling the audience that, “ these United States are still and may they always be, one nation under God.”
