(BRASSLETON)– The Truett McConnell University women’s golf team wrapped up their 2018-19 season on Monday and Tuesday at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Direct Qualifier hosted by Brenau University. The Lady Bears pulled their way out of a tie for sixth through round one to a solo sixth place finish after round two with a total score of 701.
SCAD-Atlanta won the tournament while Milligan College followed in runner-up.
TMU was led by junior Teagan Lovingood who finished tied for 11th after carding an 84 through the first 18 and an 81 through the second (165). Sophomore Kiley Blackburn followed tied for 19th shooting an 88 and 84 (172). Senior Hannah Wall followed by just a stroke to tie for 23rd. Wall shot an 87 and 86 (173).
Sophomore Faith Reddick tied for 41st and freshman Ava Rokosz tied for 45th.
