DAYTON, Tenn. | The Truett McConnell men’s basketball team wrapped up regular season play with a 70-69 loss to Bryan Saturday afternoon on the road.
TMU led by as many as 17 points with 10 minutes to play in the contest, but Bryan used hot shooting to claw back into the game and steal the win at home. Mario Westbrooks led the Bears with 19 points and eight rebounds. David Campbell added 15 points and Jacob Booke finished with 14. TMU finishes the regular season in the seventh position in the AAC and will have a rematch against Bryan on Wednesday in Kingsport, Tennessee. Game times will be announced with the official bracket release in the coming days. |
