(ASHEVILLE, N.C.) – Milligan earned the No. 16 spot in the first regular-season women’s golf poll and Tennessee Wesleyan came in at No. 24. while Truett McConnell received votes in the NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Friday.

Milligan received 278 total voting points to earn the No. 16 spot in the poll. The Buffaloes won the Bob Dibble Match Play Championship as well as the East Tennessee Collegiate. They placed second in their lone other contest at the Mars Hill University Fall Invitational.

Tennessee Wesleyan received 132 votes to make their first poll appearance at No. 24. The Bulldogs won the Point Fall Invitational to open the season. They then placed sixth SCAD Atlanta Invitational and third in the East Tennessee Collegiate.

Truett McConnell received seven votes in their first poll appearance of the season. The Bears started the season with a second-place finish at the Point Fall Invitational and followed that up with a fifth-place finish at the SCAD Atlanta invitational and a sixth-place finish in the East Tennessee Collegiate.

Following a second-place finish in the preseason poll, Keiser claims the No. 1 spot in the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The Seahawks captured 13 first-place votes for a total of 524 points.
